The house takes a significant rake on every payout, you are usually drafting against bots or strangers you will never interact with, and there is no league chat, banter, or community. No. Zero rake. Every dollar of every buy-in goes back to the league as the prize pool. LordSkunk never touches the money. LeagueSafe holds the funds, processes payouts under majority approval, and pays winners directly. The only operating cost is the LeagueSafe processing fee, which is industry standard and clearly disclosed on the LeagueSafe payment page.

Never. Every team in a LordSkunk league is a real manager who joined on purpose, paid through LeagueSafe, and is in the community Discord. We do not allow bot rosters, algorithm opponents, or “fill-the-league” autopilot teams. If a manager drops out before lock, we replace them with a real co-manager from the community before the draft.

Every LordSkunk league uses a slow draft on Sleeper. Each pick gets an 8-hour timer, with an overnight pause so nobody loses picks while they sleep. Draft from your phone, your couch, your office, on your own schedule. No 5-hour marathon sessions on a weeknight. No fighting to be home for a specific time slot. The slow format is the single most manager-friendly thing we do.

3rd Round Reversal flips the draft order in the third round. So the team that picks 12th in round 1 picks 12th again in round 3 (back-to-back picks across rounds 2 and 3), and the team that picks 1st gets the worst slot in round 3. It rewards skilled drafters at every pick slot and reduces the “I got pick 12, my season is over” anxiety. 3RR is used in: $5 LordSkunk Redraft, all three Big Boy Redraft tiers ($25 / $50 / $100), and DynastyBaller Football (startup and rookie drafts). Best Ball Brawl uses standard snake order with no 3RR.

Most startup drafts are. Live streamed across YouTube, Twitch, Kick, and Discord. Community events. The slow draft format with 8-hour pick timers means the broadcast moments highlight key picks and reactions, not 5-hour marathons.

Depends on the format. Dynasty leagues allow future pick trading AFTER the startup draft (DynastyBaller has a Pay-To-Play rule: both managers must be paid through the season tied to any traded pick). Most startup drafts do NOT allow startup pick trading unless explicitly stated. Slot swaps in DynastyBaller startups ARE allowed.

Drafts are intentionally rolled out over time to improve draft quality, avoid overlap with other LordSkunk drafts, support live streams, allow managers to participate in multiple leagues without conflict, and build stronger league engagement around each individual startup.

Superflex is a lineup slot that can start a QB, RB, WR, or TE. In practice it means a second quarterback hits your starting lineup. It dramatically raises QB value and changes draft strategy. All LordSkunk leagues are Superflex.

TE Premium means tight ends earn more points per reception than other positions. In DynastyBaller Football, TEs are 1.5 PPR while WRs and RBs are 1.0 PPR. It rewards elite TEs and forces deeper position rankings.

Best ball solves that. Best Ball Brawl and DynastyBaller Football both auto-optimize your lineup every week. You draft once, the system sets your best possible lineup each scoring period, and you compete for cash without losing Sundays. The dynasty best ball format adds offseason rookie drafts and trades, so the strategy lives in the offseason rather than the weekly grind.

Yes. Every league buy-in is held by LeagueSafe, not LordSkunk. LeagueSafe is the industry standard for legitimate paid fantasy leagues. Payouts require majority approval from the league managers before any money moves. LordSkunk never directly touches league funds.

In most cases, no. Once a league fills, draft order is randomized, draft preparations begin, or the draft starts, buy-ins become non-refundable. This protects league integrity and prevents abandoned spots close to draft time. If a league fails to fill, LeagueSafe refunds all payments automatically.

LeagueSafe refunds your buy-in directly. No middleman. No drama. If a league fails to hit the minimum manager count by the draft date, you get your money back automatically.

Once the season ends and majority approval is reached, LeagueSafe processes the payout to your account directly. Typical timing is a few business days after approval.

Absolutely. The ecosystem is intentionally designed around affordable buy-ins and flexible formats so managers can comfortably stack multiple leagues. $5 redraft, $10 best ball, $20 dynasty. Most active LordSkunk managers run three or more leagues per season.

Generally no. Co-managers require prior commissioner approval. Unauthorized account sharing or unofficial co-management may result in removal from the league.

Be active. Respond reasonably. Participate competitively. Respect other managers. Avoid toxic behavior. Trash talk is welcome. Harassment is not. The goal is competitive leagues in a fun, respectful environment.

Removal reasons include:

Commissioner decisions are made in the best interest of league integrity.

No. Managers are expected to stay reasonably active throughout the season and offseason. Repeated inactivity may result in replacement.

Once payments lock, refunds are generally not possible. Managers are responsible for finding a replacement owner unless otherwise approved by the commissioner. Commissioners may assist when possible, but replacement is not guaranteed. The preferred path is replacing yourself with a co-manager from the Discord community.

Strongly encouraged but not required. Discord is where league chat, trade talk, draft prep, and content drops live. The leagues are noticeably more fun for managers who actually participate in the community.
